The long wait is over at last!

UPDATE!! We are afraid to say that development has been longer than expected and we have received a revised availability date of the end of September. We know this date has been moved back and it may yet move back again. We hope you can understand that we will not sacrifice the quality of the product to meet a planned date. The adjustments currently being implemented are very minor but need to be done to achieve the quality level we desire. Only when we are 100% happy with the product will it be released.

Revington TR and the TR Register’s Spares Development Fund (SDF) are pleased to announce the re-introduction of these lamps, which were on display in the arena and then on the Revington TR stand at the International Weekend at Malvern 2010.

The aim of the project has been to recreate the lamps as near as practically possible to the original product. We are pleased to say that this goal has been achieved. In an effort to ensure the quality of the product would be up to scratch, we started by commissioning the main body, as we knew this would potentially be a showstopper. After protracted development, the first and then the second prospective manufacturers were sacked! The third insisted on a 3D model and the production of plastic prototypes to prove the drawing, before launching tooling. The tooling was signed-off earlier this year after very careful scrutiny to ensure the metal thickness was correct and general form matched the samples. As a result, the final die-casting is virtually indistinguishable from the original part - apart from a lack of pitting!

Typical features which have been carefully reproduced are: the bull nose ends to the flutes and the curvature of the body where it sits against the wing. This has been checked against original parts on new, unused, Stanpart wings.

All gaskets bulb holders and lenses are to original shape and form, thus ensuring that all new parts are interchangeable with original parts, even down to the type of bulbs used. The photograph shows the first pair off the tools. Note that, as shown here, the amber lens does not have its lettering, but this will be added on production parts. All the parts have original markings - this is permitted as we have authority, for a fee, from the holder of the Lucas trademark.

We expect the stock to arrive late August, with an special introductory retail price of £165 plus VAT for each lamp. TR Register members however (as their money has been used to develop this product) can take advantage of an even lower introductory price of £132 plus VAT for each lamp. This offer to TR Register members will remain available only until the end of September 2011, or until stock is exhausted.

We suggest fitting RTR8155, this is a Brass adaptor which screws in to the thermostat housing & prevents the male nut on the capillary pipe seizing into the alloy casting.

This new Lamp Bar is taken from the TR4 works rally cars and Unlike the 'rally' lamp bar which requires the removal of the front bumper, this alternative new version can be fitted straight to the car with the bumper in situ, also allowing the bonnet to open normally. Once in place the bar can then be fitted with the 5" fog or auxiliary driving lights that it is designed to carry.

Manufactured by an OE supplier especially for Revington TR, this new range of discs significantly advances the quality of brake discs available for TRs, and at lower cost than the discs previously available, particularly for the TR3, 3A and 4.

This kit is a simple bolt on modification. The kit includes calipers, discs, caliper carriers, handbrake cables and all fixings required.

This Dual Circuit Master Cylinder Kit, with one master cylinder for the front brakes and one for the back, continues the reputation RevingtonTR components have for improved performance and safety.
As featured on 6VC and 3VC, our works TR4 Rally cars, the kit contains three master cylinders; one clutch cylinder and two brake master cylinders, reservoirs, balance bar assembly, all brackets and pipe work. When fitted to TR4-4A’s, this kit is a direct replacement. The TR2-3B version requires slight alterations to the bulkhead. The kit is available with a choice of reservoirs: a pressed steel split reservoir or two plastic see-through reservoirs. The pedal assembly is available as an exchange item. We also offer a dual servo, to complement this kit.

This new product manufactured by Superpro Europe Ltd. improves the stability of the differential on its mountings in the chassis. Manufactured from polyurethane these mountings are impervious to damage from grease and oil and will outlive the standard rubber component many times. For the competition minded the benefits of using this component will be found in much less differential movement resulting in better drive shaft stability and improved chassis life.

The kit consists of 2 mountings and should be used in conjunction with forward polyurethane differential mountings, part number - SPF0138K

TR4AIRS cars do not use new mounting PartNo SPF1992K. Owners of these cars should order Part No. SPF0138AK which is a Complete Differential Mounting Kit.

Newly developed by RevingtonTR these aluminium flywheels fit standard crank shafts and provide a considerable weight saving. These Flywheels are available in 3 versions for both early (up to engine No. cp/cc 50000) long back cranks and later (from engine No. cp/cc 50001) short back cranks as follows:

These have now been remanufactured in polyurethane. These parts have been difficult to obtain for some time. They are now available in polyurethane - a much harder wearing material.
