Second Hand Dynamo steel Pulley to original dimensions. Consider this original second hand part 102266SH as an alternative to a new aftermarket product. If you are considering running a thin belt conversion to drive your dynamo you will need aluminium thin belt pulley 12G2102A. See below

When assembling a pulley and dynamo the following dimensions will be useful: -
 
The pulley boss 102266 (original) has a depth of 19mm
Pulley 12G2102Ahas a boss depth of 20mm
The attachment nut is 6.6mm thick, the spring washer 1.6mm making a total 8.2mm  so the total protruding from the dynamo needs to be 27.2mm for it to work. Various dynamos measure between 26mm  and 30mm. The 26mm ones must not be TR. As long as the dynamo has a 27-30mm shaft and thread all will be well.
