The sides have filler on them. very unusual. we can only assume someone in the past decided to crudely widen the bonnet to suit an aperture that was too wide and 'adjusted' the width of tee bonnet rather than do the right thing, and correct the aperture. the edges of the bonnet appear to be in the right place, inside the filler.

This bonnet would be ideal for someone with no bonnet, a mangled bonnet, or  for a race car where an aluminium or fibreglass skin will be used.
