TR2-4A Steel three bearing Crankshaft with plain rear end, to enable easy fitment of Gaco type oil seal. The flywheel is attached with 12 Cap Head bolts RTR1215B.

The Crankshaft is fully cross-drilled such that the oil ways run end to end. The rear crankshaft flange has a 12 bolt fixing, is 3.1252" diameter (This is smaller than standard) and accepts a full circle lip seal for improved oil-retention. This special oil seal RTR1215S fits into the cavity at the back of the block/main bearing cap where the standard aluminium seal originally fitted. A special flywheel, RTR1468 is required with a smaller than standard register. See below
