Temperature Gauge TR2-3B electrical reading degrees F. This Gauge is visually, when fitted into the instrument panel the same as the original capillary instrument. A suitable electrical sender unit will be required to drive the unit. A standard TR6 sender unit should work but these are neither reliable or accurate.
We prefer to supply sender unit GTR108-1 which is a very reliable and accurate sender unit ideally matched to this gauge. See below. A voltage stabiliser is not required to drive this Fuel Gauge.
The advantages of this type of gauge are; greater accuracy, improved reliability (capillary tubes are likely to break) and the ability to detach the instrument or instrument panel without disturbing the coolant system.
