COMPLETE CHASSIS

We offer a comprehensive chassis manufacturing service supplying new chassis in a variety of finishes and also supplying individual chassis parts, many of which were not available originally as separate items.

Our chassis are sold on an exchange basis therefore, we will need your old chassis back. We need the old chassis as there are some pressed parts of the original chassis that never wear out or corrode badly and these parts are not cost effective to make new.

Our chassis therefore are best described as 'new with some original parts incorporated'. What you will receive is a chassis that is a new construction from Zinc plated steel incorperating some original Triumph parts depending on which chassis is ordered. For TR2-4 this will usually mean that only the steering box mounts from an original chassis are used, for a TR4A IRS to 6 chassis, we currently use the steering rack mount, front turrets and differential bridge. Live axle TR4A's use the steering rack mount and rear hump. If and when original parts are incorporated in a new chassis build, each component is shot blasted and assessed for straightness, strength and general suitability for inclusion in a high quality new chassis build.

All our chassis frames are constructed in specially made jigs that have been commissioned for the sole purpose of manufacturing new chassis exclusively for RevingtonTR. Accuracy is assured as the jigs and the chassis parts have been CAD drawn using original Triumph drawings and our vast stock of second hand chassis for reference. The resulting chassis will be strong and fit for purpose.

We never repair a severely bent chassis. All chassis we receive that have suffered significant accident damage are cut up and  the parts mentioned above retained for future use if in suitable condition.

If you are not able to let us have your old chassis before or at the time of collecting your new remanufactured chassis, a deposit will need to be paid until we receive an old chassis from you. This cost is covered by part number RTR7286. if you do not have a suitable chassis to provide us with the return parts we need, a chassis can be supplied to you on an outright basis including the price of the deposit shown. 

Our chassis units, can be supplied as follows:

1. New remanufactured, unpainted. Please see part numbers below for the basic chassis part number for individual models. The chassis will be supplied untreated  in 'as welded' condition. We offer two painting services at extra cost

2. As 1. Above painted with etch primer only. See the part number below for more details

3. As 2. Above painted with etch primer and a black top coat. See the part number below for more details

NOTE1: All TR4A‑6 chassis incorporate our front suspension and diff strengthening modifications (not live axle TR4A), as the standard chassis is weak in design in these areas.
