This high quality angle drive is used on TR4A-6 but was common on Austin Healey, MGB and other cars of the period.

Some angle drives we supply may have a leaflet included referring to assembly with a copper washer part number 3H550 which is used to get the correct spacing thus avoiding putting excessive load on the spindle. This washer IS NOT a TR part and is not necessary in TR applications and refers only to BMC applications. No washer is required in any TR application.

An alternative to using the angle drive is to use a longer speedo cable. This enables the cable to be fitted with smooth bends to avoid needle flicker (if it is cable induced rather than instrument induced). Please call for more details if you would prefer this alternative.
