This is a new build coolant Temperature Gauge which looks original in all respects when in the dashboard, but had modern internals, whilst still being compatible with a standard sender unit. Original gauges were Bi-Metal type and were driven by the voltage stabiliser. These new gauges are not Bi-Meta and do not require a voltage stabiliser.
For reference the clamps are available second hand under part numbers 136643/2SH 136643/1SH
