TR4A-6 New rear hub unit. Based on Ford Sierra Cosworth hub, much stronger than original part. This unit is only necessary for extreme race or rally applications.

This design of TR4A 6 rear hub unit is much stronger than original part and will accept loads far in excess of that which the original hub unit will tolerate.
The hubs have a universal drive face that requires the flange listed below to effect fitment of the universal joint, except when used with uprated driveshaft RTR1380 as this has a suitable drive flange already fitted.
Please note that these units are very stiff to turn when new. This is normal until the unit has run for a while.
 
The following additional parts will be useful: -
4 X RTR1219 STUDS as standard studs will not fit
4X SC606081 Screws to fit the hub to the driving flange. See below 
 
NOTE: - These units are handed. Left Hand Thread to Left Hand side of the car and vis versa. Should the nut be undone retorque to 350NM (250ftlb)

As this unit is intended for race applications, customers requiring a hub unit for road or mild completion use should use uprated hub 137496-1
