TR2-4 Armstrong lever damper with larger DAS10 body as used by the Works TR4 Rally cars. The larger body holds more oil, is able to dissipate more heat and therefore can offer more consistent damping in arduous conditions.

These dampers must use our modified mount kit. Order part number RTR7043K (pair of mounts, strengtheners and fasteners). In addition an extra long link is required. Order part number RTR3392K. Please take a look a these additional parts, especially RTR7043K as this is a chassis modification that must be done to accommodate these larger dampers.
Fixings (4 of each required) for these dampers are listed below.

DAS is an Armstrong classification for  damper body size

DAS9 is a medium sized body used on TR2-4 and many similar sizes cars of the time but is working at the top end of its operational window in the TR2-4 application.

DAS10 is a larger body, containing much more oil and larger pistons. The damping effect offered is greater than DAS9 and with more oil to dissipate the heat, it will operate efficiently longer in arduous conditions.
