TR2-4 Strengthened larger rear damper mounting kit to accommodate RTR3313L and RTR3313R DAS10 type dampers. This kit Comprises 2 mountings and 4 strengtheners plus 4 screws, nuts and washers to attach the dampers to the brackets.

This kit is a faithful copy of the damper mountings welded tot he chassis of the works TR4 rally cars. To complete the modification the original TR2-4 DAS9 damper mounting which are much smaller and attached tot he chassis in a much flimsier manner , need to be cut off and the new parts welded on.

DAS is an Armstrong classification for  damper body size

DAS9 is a medium sized body used on TR2-4 and many similar sizes cars of the time but is working at the top end of its operational window in the TR2-4 application.

DAS10 is a larger body, curtaining much more oil and larger pistons. The damping effect offered is greater than DAS9 and with more oil to dissipate the heat, it will operate efficiently longer in arduous conditions.
