The car has so much travel that when the springs are shorter to lower the car, there is not enough travel in the spring to accommodate the travel the car offers. If this is the case, the springs should be 'P' clipped to the upper spring mount. Alternatively short dampers or lengthened retainers can be used to stop spring coming loose on full droop.
