TR2-4A NEW CYLINDER HEADS

Only TR4A style heads are produced new. These however can be used on TRs 2-4A with appropriate manifolds and gaskets.

Revington TR will be happy to produce a bespoke head to customer's requirement, to the same standard as RTR1037EXK, RTR1115-1EXK or RTR1115-2EXK using an aluminium casting 511695ANF as a basis. The cost will be the addition of the two part numbers individual cost.

NOTE: These new heads have been made to the TR4A pattern, but can easily be used on TR2-4 where a high port head is required. There is no intention to reproduce TR2 low port heads, which remain only available on an exchange basis. TR2 owners should use high port manifolds and H6 carburettors when installing a new TR4A style head.
 
Please be aware that the shroud over the inlet valves on newly produced TR4A cylinder heads, which is usually removed when a cylinder head is 'worked' has been omitted on these heads. This modification provides a great improvement in gas flow but does require the use of a solid copper gasket to ensure a reliable gas tight seal. RevingtonTR sell a range of suitable gaskets, the thickness of which can be chosen to provide a desired compression ratio. Please see the list of gasket shown with each cylinder head.
