Early TR2-3 Overdrive Mainshaft.

Two overdrive mainshafts were used on TR2-3B the early one 110736 used a sintered bronze bearing between the mainshaft and the input shaft, the later one 204044 used a press fit needle roller bearing that was carried over to TR4-5-EARLY 6

The noses of the mainshafts 110736 and 204044 are totally different and they cant be converted to make one from the other.

Mainshafts + input shafts can be swapped as pairs, but the early mainshaft needs a rear washer 060569 which is triangular. The later one is circular but cannot be fitted to early shafts, it is the same washers 116496 as used on TR4-6 four synchromesh gearboxes.

Triangular washers 060569 are available but early overdrive mainshafts 110736 are difficult to find

204044 mainshaft is readily available
