TR6CF/CR exchange 'J' type overdrive. This part number covers all units on an exchange basis like for like as well as rebuilding customers units and the rebuilding of our core units when we supply outright.
Under this part number units are rebuilt to the standard TR6 'cushion' engagement specification especially important to TR4AIRS, 250, 5 and 6 owners where a soft engagement will minimise transmission clonk. Comes with the solenoid fitted. Our units come with the correct TR adaptor to the gearbox.
When we supply a 'J' type overdrive on the back of a gearbox for fitment to a TR2 to TR6 CC/CP chassis, an adaptor plate kit will be needed. see GEARBOX MOUNTINGS: CONVERSION KITS
