TR2-6 rear mounting kit to fit J type gearbox and overdrive to a car with an 'A' type TR2-6 chassis.

This kit is designed for the 'J' type overdrive that has a vertical flat face, with horizontal stud fixings near to the speedometer cable attachment point. 

The kit consists of a base plate, 90° overdrive bracket, a flexible mounting with a shroud and a selection of fixings screws, nuts and washers.

Fitting is self explanatory however the following notes will help.

1. To fit the upper 'L' shaped bracket to the overdrive unit, remove one stud then reinstall it once the bracket is in place.

2. The mounting is screwed into the  'L' shaped bracket tightly and the locknut tightened. Excess stud thread will need to be cut off with a hacksaw as there is only just enough room for the locknut without any thread protruding.

3. Washers can be inserted between the mounting and the lower plate if height needs to be adjusted.
