Oil pressure gauge Sender Unit for electronic versions of TR2-6 oil pressure gauges. The sender we supply with all of our electronic pressure gauges is manufactured by VDO and provides superior reliability and accuracy compared to traditional smiths units.
We do not recommend using the original Smiths style sender units as they can have a high failure rate (after fitting) and poor accuracy. The gauge will also read zero pressure until 18-20 psi which is a problem on some older cars, this is due to the sender not producing an output at low pressures. Most cars will run higher pressures than 20psi so will never notice a problem however an accurate gauge is an advantage.
