This steel cage, is used to retain square nuts, usually with 5/16" or 3/8" UNF and 8-10mm threads. This deep cage is not available, however, a shallower cage is, with sufficiently long weld on legs to enable them to be bent over a little to accommodate slightly deeper nuts of the type that would be used in 600032 type cages. See cage RTR5135 below

Square nuts and cages are used to provide a bit of 'wobble' when aligning components as the cage is slightly larger than the nut but still stops the nut from rotating. The full range of cages and square nuts is listed here to enable easy matching of nuts and cages for any application: -
