'Top hat' shaped adaptor sleeve for wheels that need an 11/16" (17.5mm). This Sleeve converts an RTR1346 sleeve nut from 5/8" (16mm) to 11/16" (17.5mm).

Wheel nut RTR1346 is suitable for 7/16"UNF wheel studs intended for attaching aluminium wheels with a flat face (not conical) where the nut attaches, requiring a sleeve nut with a 5/8" (16mm) plain section 3/4" long where the nut goes into the wheel. 

These wheel nuts have a flat face under the hexagon and use a flat washer in contact with a flat face of the road wheel. Wheel nut RTR1346 is intended to fit wheels with a hole where the studs protrude 5/8" (16mm) diameter, the plain section of the nut is 5/8" (16mm) to fit this type of wheel with a close fit. 

Some wheels have 11/16" (17.5mm) holes where the studs protrude, these require a nut with a suitably larger plain diameter below the hexagon. Wheel nuts for this application are no longer available however a solution is at hand. We offer this 'top hat' shaped sleeve RTR1346SLEEVE with an internal diameter to suit the nut and an outside diameter of 11/16" (17.5mm) which slips over the plain diameter of nut RTR1346 and converts the nut to one suitable for wheels requiring a 11/16" (17.5mm) sleeve nut. As the 'rim' of the 'top hat' sleeve replaces the washer, the washer supplied with the nut can be discarded.

There are several permutations available of the adaptor sleeve. please enquire if  the combination of RTR1346 and RTR1346SLEEVE does not meed your needs.
