This kit is used to switch an electrical engine fan on and off; it fits TR250, 5, 6 with a USA spec. radiator fitted and includes a down pipe adapted to take a screw in thermo switch, relay, adjustable thermo switch, fittings and fitting instructions.

The Revotec adjustable switching unit used in this kit incorporates the latest type of surface mounted electronic sensor to monitor the temperature of the water in the cooling system. The sensor is screwed into the water pipe, thus eliminating the need for capillary probes or radiator mounted clip on devices. This ensures that the coolant flow is not impaired, accurate temperature control is maintained and effective sealing of the coolant system is assured.

Revington TR offer a range of Radiator Cooling Fan kits split into 3 groups as follows: -
  • RTR1488K one Universal kit
  • RTR1416 series is our Standard range which includes a higher quality Fan than kit RTR1488K, 'Pull Through' Clamps to attach the fan directly to the radiator core, and an Adjustable Thermostatic Temperature Controller (In Line Electronic Type).
  • RTR1483 series is our Deluxe range which includes the same high quality Fan that is used in the RTR1416 series, Bespoke Brackets to attach the Fan to the radiator frame, and an Adjustable Thermostatic Temperature Controller (In Line Electronic Type).

    Tip: - Always clean hose connections thoroughly and rough up shiny pipes onto which hoses will be fitted. Use Heldite sealant around the inside of the hose. This ensures a perfect seal without undue hose clip pressure being needed.
